LESSONS

Whether you’re a newbie, novice, advancing student or semi-pro, guitar lessons with Chance are fun and offer the opportunity to discover that one’s own musical growth is unlimited. Everyone has potential to reach new heights by understanding their path of interest with the guitar, assessing their strengths/weaknesses and being appreciative of their present skill level while also showing persistent dedication to improve. No matter your musical preferences or goals, Chance can guide your path with the guitar in a forwarding direction while helping you develop a greater appreciation for music holistically. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and development and can include any/all of the following: history of the guitar and its many roles in music, rhythm development with use of metronome, reading notes and/or tab, fretboard geography, chord/scale relationships, western music theory, ear training and “playing by ear”, active listening, learning songs, playing with others, improvisation, composition, transcription and more.

“My personal philosophy is to learn something from each and every musical scenario, which I vastly contribute to my experiences acquired through teaching. I hold my ability to pass on knowledge with immense value, as it subsequently continues to show my personal potential that remains. With the humble belief that I’ll always be a student on a quest of music, I am able to share the learning process with others who also wish to be educated. I am always interested in connecting with those who are intrigued to witness the development of their talents. Using effective techniques acquired through my academic and personal studies, I happily show generous support to students of all ages and skill levels.”
